As if you needed proof that Gail Simone is a bonnafide comics genius, just remember that, in Secret Six, she made Catman cool.  Like, really cool.  This series was always thrilling, often hilarious and frequently quite touching.  Volume Three even features guest co-writer John Ostrander, whose 80′s iteration of Suicide Squad paved the way for Simone’s all-villain antihero team.
