Check out Becky Cloonan’s cover for Gail Simone‘s Red Sonja #5! I love it!

This cover jumped out of the screen and kicked my ass and turned my brain upside-down.

Holy crap. 

Becky gets it. There’s a part of Sonja that’s a beautiful babe in bikini armor, that’s fine.

But THIS is part of Sonja, too, the last fighter standing when your entire goddamn army is dead at her feet. 

Amazing. 

Not to pat myself on the back, but choosing these women to do all the covers and variants was the smartest thing I ever did. Wow.

Red Sonja #2 just came out this week- if you aren’t reading that book, you might want to rectify that! Besides being a lot of fun, this book has some legendary covers! I’m honored to be on board with this one!! Red Sonja: Total babe, total bad ass. So much fun to draw!
