comiXology’s Creator of the Week: Sam Humphries

We here over at comiXology thought it was time to give a little extra love to all the creators that make our favorite comics, because let’s face it, without them all we would have are blank pages.

So to celebrate the amazing people that invent the worlds and characters that we obsess about, each week we will pick one and spend the week talking about how amazing they are and giving out some special coupon codes for you all to use so you can experience their work for yourselves.

So without further adieu, we present the first ever comiXology Creator of the Week!

Sam Humphries is a rising star in the comics world. Through his creator-owned comics, to his involvement with properties such as BOOM’s Higher Earth series, and his new job as the man behind the words of The Legendary Star-Lord it looks like Humphries & his incredible head of hair are here to stay.

Follow Sam on twitter & here on tumblr: samhumphries

Stay tuned for more on Sam Humphries info throughout the week as well as some social-media-exclusive discount codes!

comiXology’s Creator of the Week highlights one of our favorite people in comics starting each Monday.
