Not sure what you’re talking about. Anyone have any idea?

We would love to (I read it and it’s great), but it’s published by Ballantine Books which we don’t currently carry. Hopefully one day though!

I turned this one over to the people here with kids and here’s what I got back:

  • ARiOL ARiOL is your everyday tween donkey. He lives in the suburbs with his mom and dad. His best friend is a pig. He’s in love with a beautiful cow in his class. His teacher is a dog. His gym teacher is a huge rooster. In short, ARiOL is just like you and me! This series from multiple-award-winning author Emmanuel Guibert is a hilarious adventure through recess, silly nicknames, gym class, and everything else life throws our way!
  • Korgi - Top Shelf is proud to announce the signing of an all new, all-ages series of graphic novels, entitled Korgi. Christian Slade, a former Disney animator and currently full-time freelance illustrator, has brought to Top Shelf a gorgeously illustrated woodland fantasy about a young girl Ivy, her dog Sprout, and their amazing adventures in Korgi Hollow.
  • Aw Yeah Comics! AW YEAH COMICS!!! It’s FINALLY here! The catch phrase? The store? Nope. THE COMIC! This is it! The comic you’ve heard so much about! Action Cat! Adventure Bug! And their adventures in the Aw Yeah Comics Universe! Who is Evil Cat? Why does he want pancakes so bad? Does he need them for his evil plans? It’s up to Action Cat and Adventure Bug to stop him!

I just recommended it to someone else, but Sandman fits this bill pretty perfectly.

Also, I don’t know if you’re into the superhero thing, but holllly cow Jason Aaron’s run on Thor: God of Thunder (especially the first two arcs) are some of the best comics-as-mythology pieces I’ve ever read.

Recruiting members? For what? Maybe we should start a comic book club!

No, honestly, I’m not sure what you mean…
